“You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more appropriately-titled record this year. One Big Party is one big sonic shit-eatin’ grin. Joyous, carefree and catchy as hell, this record is a perfect and cost-effective antidote to whatever ails ya”My Old Kentucky Blog

PASTE MAgazine premiered short documentary: (directed by Bill Antonucci) in which PALEFACE shares the creative process of writing, recording, and performing. Paleface says their songs are always evolving, alive and growing, in part because of the vital energy they exchange with fans that come to see them play at the 200+ shows they perform a year. Paleface was schooled by friend Daniel Johnston and soon discovered by the legendary Danny Fields at an NYC Antifolk open mic. He has since released over a dozen records including two major label releases. Paleface has influenced and inspired a wide range of artists including Grammy Award recipients Kimya Dawson, who described Paleface as “one of my favorite people on the planet” and Beck who called Paleface “a big influence on my early work” in Annie Leibovitz's book "American Music.” Paleface has also written and appeared on three albums by The Avett Brothers. In the footage, Scott Avett recounts being “blown away” the first time he met Paleface in 2003: “He was barking and singing and just throwing passion out. We were just immediately inspired and ignited by the fire he was throwing. WATCH NOW on Vimeo
